Unreliable email systems are causing ‘e–rage’ in three-quarters of workers, according to a new survey by U.K. Internet service provider Eclipse Internet.
"A survey of 1,500 employers and staff ... found that one in five workers has resorted to physically attacking their computers in frustration when their workplace email account has failed to function properly."
Blogger T.L. Wentz, who writes about Anger Management called it a new cause of office stress.
Loss of communications was cited as the the main cause of email-related stress (67 per cent), for small business owners and employees, the impact on company image (28 per cent) and loss of control (38 per cent) are key contributing factors.
